Roof Integrated PV Slates

For new builds - we recommend the Solar Century C21 tile.

It's a fantastic product for using on new builds and integrates seamlessly with any concrete roofing tile. It's extremely efficient and a very good looking product. Please download the info sheet.

In February 2006 PLUG INTO THE SUN completed a 5kW installation at Carnyorth Education Centre, using the ATLANTIS SUNSLATES from Solar Century

Attractive: Sunslates are easy to install and look very similar to traditional roof slates.

Above Roof Solar PV Panels

PLUG INTO THE SUN are currently using KYOCERA solar panels for above roof installations.

Kyocera offer an advanced polycrystalline design with a conversion efficiency of over 14%. The 36 cells are encapsulated with EVA between tempered glass and a PVF sheet. The frame is of anodised aluminium for strength and environmental protection.

Large range: The Kyocera range has a photovoltaic module to meet every requirement.

Easy installation: the large junction box with 20mm cable entries and substantial screw terminals ensures easy wiring in the field.

Guaranteed performance: A power output guaranteed to within ±10% enables accurate system sizing for cost-effective power supply.

25 year power output: Power output is guaranteed to be not less than 90% of minimum rated power for a period of 12 years from date of purchase, and not less than 80% of minimum rated power for a period of 25 years from date of purchase.

Product support: Kyocera Corporation have many years of experience in the photovoltaic industry, and can offer expert advice and customer support in all aspects of renewable energy.

Inverters

PLUG INTO THE SUN are using FRONIUS inverters.

Efficient: These are highly efficient inverters that come with a 5 year manufacturers warranty.

Simple: The IG 15/20/30 range is especially suited for small "on-the-roof" systems. The inverters have simple displays enabling easy monitoring of the equipment.
