3 step guide to domestic grants

Getting a grant towards solar PV panels is as easy as 1-2-3! Once you have used our online calculator to produce an estimate, follow these steps:
  1. Complete our site survey form or book us for a site survey* and we will supply a quote
  2. Use the quote to apply for a grant of up to £2,500 from the Low Carbon Building Program (apply for planning permission if you need it too - see our FAQ on planning permission)
  3. Book the installation date and Plug into the Sun!

Domestic households are eligible for grants from the Low Carbon Building Program (LCBP) grant of up to a maximum of £2,500. In England and Wales the LCBP is managed by the Energy Saving Trust. The grants are subject to some criteria:

  1. The grant is up to £2500 per household per installation.
  2. The grant must be spent within 4 months of being awarded.
  3. The property must meet a minimum level of energy efficiency e.g. 270mm loft insulation, cavity wall insulation, basic central heating controls (timer & thermostat) and low energy light bulbs as appropriate.
