Headteacher Pete Daniels wanted to bring his school into the 21st century and provide something beneficial for both the school and the planet before he retired.

Holway Park school, Taunton

This is the first school in the UK to have a solar PV installation from LBCP II funding. An electronic display in reception shows energy generated and the carbon dioxide saved.

St Colomb Minor School

By using data logging equipment the panels are used to educate the school children about solar power.
