This is the the first community project in the UK to benefit from LCBP Phase 2 funding, and will be used to raise awareness about what can be achieved by a community group.
Background
Warleggan Jubilee Hall, near Bodmin in Cornwall, is the the first community project in the UK to benefit from LCBP Phase 2 funding.
Objective
The objectives were to offset the running costs and electrical needs of the building and reduce carbon dioxide emissions. Warleggan Jubilee Hall also wanted to raise awareness about what can be achieved by a community group.
Funding
The installation received 50% funding from the Low Carbon Building Programme (LCBP) Phase 2 and 50% match funding from EDF Energy.
