Plug Into The Sun have installed 20kWp on Treliske Hospital which will powering the Children's Ward.
We competed against numerous local and national companies to win this prestigious installation. There were some very tricky aspects to this installation.
Firstly the installation is on the roof of the main tower block - 6 stories high with very limited access.
Secondly the installation couldn’t be installed on the newly laid flat roof!
The solution was a custom made stainless steel frame, designed and manufactured in Cornwall fixed onto the parapet wall.
We enjoyed the engineering and technical challenges along with the stringent requirements for Health and Safety and quality.
